Expert Propane System Safety Inspection in Moab, UT

Peters Propane Service performs propane system safety inspections for residential and commercial customers throughout Moab, Castle Valley, La Sal, Old La Sal, Monticello, Blanding, and Mack, Colorado. A trained technician checks your tank, regulators, gas lines, fittings, valves, and connected appliances for leaks, corrosion, and wear. In eastern Utah and the surrounding high desert, natural gas pipelines do not reach most rural properties. That means your propane system carries the full load for heating, cooking, and water heating through winters where overnight lows can drop well below freezing. Outdoor tanks and buried lines in this climate face temperature swings, UV exposure, and soil movement that can stress fittings over time. A safety inspection catches small problems before they affect fuel flow or create a hazard. If you have recently moved into a home with an existing propane setup, added a new appliance, or have not had a system check in over a year, contact Peters Propane Service at 1230 South Highway 191, Moab, Utah 84532 to schedule your inspection.

Propane System Safety Inspection FAQ

Common questions about propane system safety inspection in Moab, UT.

Yes, we serve Castle Valley, La Sal, Old La Sal, Monticello, Blanding, and Mack, Colorado. Call our Moab office at 1230 South Highway 191 to confirm service for your address.

Our technician checks your tank, gas lines, regulators, fittings, valves, and propane-burning appliances for leaks, corrosion, and wear. Homes in rural areas like Blanding and La Sal often have older systems that benefit most from this full review.

If your system has not been checked in over a year, you have added a new appliance, or you have moved into a home with an existing propane setup, an inspection is a smart next step. Monticello properties with outdoor tanks face temperature swings that can stress fittings over time.

Yes, a delivery visit is not a substitute for a dedicated safety inspection. A full inspection by Peters Propane Service covers appliance connections, regulator performance, and line integrity that a delivery driver does not evaluate.

Yes, we inspect propane systems at newly purchased homes in Castle Valley and surrounding areas. An inspection confirms the condition of an existing setup before you rely on it for heating or cooking.

The technician will document the issue and explain what needs to be corrected. Peters Propane Service serves Blanding customers and can advise on the right next steps to restore safe system operation.

Stopped here to fill up my two propane tanks, found it thanks to the large sign. The owner helped me out, who was super nice and great to talk to. I'm glad I chose this place to get my tanks filled. The lot is large, and laid out in a manner that would make it no problem to pull in with any RV or travel trailer.

The most kindest man you’ll ever meet! He helped us figure out our tank problem and ensured we would be able to use it while camping and had enough propane!

So helpful. Had a mini-leak and they looked at it no problem. Explained exactly what was going on, what I needed to do to fix it, and filled up my tank! Very friendly, nice, gøød price. Local. Whatever good/positive words that exist fits these guys. Took my RV, but whatever it is when it comes to propane I am sure you are in gøød hands here. I'll be a patron here every time I'm in Moab until I die, or they close. Thanks a bunch!
